EURO STARS LTD. – Ruse is established in 1993 as a limited liability company named EUROTUR with basic subject of activity trade and service of cars of the make Mercedes-Benz. In 1995 it is renamed and takes the name EUROTUR STAR by analogy with BALKAN STAR – General agency of DAIMLER-BENZ AD in Bulgaria, and at present the company is named EURO STARS LTD and is an authorized commercial and service representative for the cars of DAIMLER – CHRYSLER AD for Central North Bulgaria.
Since 1996 the company has been an authorized representative of the company TAPROGGE – Germany, which is specialized in the production, delivery, mounting and commissioning of ball-type pipe-cleaning installations and filters for condensers of electric-power stations.
Except with TAPROGGE, the company works with FRAMATOM ANP, Porokor GmbH, etc.
For this relatively short period of time, the company has fulfilled several projects in Nuclear Power Plant Kozloduy and in Thermo-electric Power Plant - Varna, as follows:

EURO STARS supplies cleaning balls of the company TAPROGGE for ball-cleaning installations of NPP Kozloduy, Thermo-electric power station Varna, Thermo-electric power station Maritsa – Iztok 2, etc.

With the experience gained from the performance of the above-described projects EURO STARS has proved to be a leading company in this field of the Bulgarian power engineering.
The General Manager of the company, eng. Emil Vichev, has experience as a specialist in mounting in the field of atomic power engineering. He worked on the construction sites of NPP Kozloduy and NPP Belene.

EVROTUR STAR continues to expand its activity by directing to a new field of power engineering – combined production of heat and electric power. For that purpose the company has established an engineering department, which works in close cooperation with one of the units of DAIMLER-CHRYSLER AD, namely MTU – Friedrichshafen.

The combined production of thermal power and electric power, known as cogeneration, is a method of efficient and environmental-friendly use of natural gas. One cogenerator, mounted in any building, ensures both the needed thermal power and electric power. If the electric power is not immediately used, it can be sold to the National electricity-distributing company and can generate revenues. Cogenerators are very efficient when natural gas is used as a source of energy. These are the only equipments, for which the efficiency of the gas is 89 – 90 %, the electric efficiency is 32 – 35 %, and the thermal efficiency – about 52 – 55 %.

In the conditions of continuous increase of the prices of electric power and thermal power in Bulgaria, the use of cogenerators as alternative sources of heat and electricity is very beneficial, especially in schools, health establishments, etc.

With regard to the mounting works under the above-mentioned activities, EURO STARS has a mounting group of specialists with high qualification and long-term practice in the field of industrial power engineering. The have worked for the mounting, maintenance and implementation of new equipment and technologies in NPP Kozloduy, Thermo-electric power station – Varna, Thermo-electric power station – Ruse, etc.
