GENERAL SCOPE OF ACTIVITY

PROSERVICE NT Ltd. was established in the beginning of 1991. It is 100% private in participation and investments. The firm is registered in accordance with the Bulgarian legislation. It is estimated as medium sized with its 7 full-time employees, 1 accountant, 1 secretary and 9 part-time employees, whose average age is 39 years. All of them have a higher education degree and practical experience.

PROSERVICE NT Ltd. has the following organizational structure: president, vice-president, HW-department, SW-department, accountant, secretary.

The firm works in cooperation with large Bulgarian companies, such as RISK ELECTRONIC, RISK ENGINEERING, VVM, MAK ELECTRONIC, ENERGOPROEKT, etc .

"PROSERVICE NT" Ltd. is a service company, authorized by CANBERRA PACKARD CENTRAL EUROPE GmbH, EBERLINE, RADOS and HORMANN GmbH.

The major field of activity of the company is maintenance of special dosimetry and spectrometry equipment, installation and maintenance of computer networks, design of own company controllers for control of industrial processes, design of radio and cable networks, engineering architecture design for dislocation of special equipment.

The company's hardware field of activity is directed mainly to the ecology monitoring systems, external and technologic radiation monitoring, thermoluminescent dosimeters, systems for automatic collection and analysis of data and signals.

The software field of activity is directed mainly to real-time technology processes control.

"PROSERVICE NT" Ltd. has been awarded for maintenance contracts by large Bulgarian state companies, such as "NIPRORUDA" and "BALKANCARPODEM". "PROSERVICE NT" Ltd. has contracted the maintenance of the entire special equipment at NPP - Kozloduy. It has been awarded a contract for the maintenance of AMSERC (automatic measurement system for external radiation control) at the NPP-Kozloduy. It also maintains the ecology monitoring systems at all RIOS (Regional Environment Inspection Bureaus) on the territory of Bulgaria for MoEW (Ministry of environment and Waters). Along with HOERMANN - Germany it has designed and commissioned a system for Real Time Radiation Monitoring on the entire territory of the country.

The firm possesses equipment, consisting of computers, measuring apparatuses: oscillographs, special equipment and instruments. The company possesses also a wide range of spare parts for maintenance of special devices.

Languages for communication are Bulgarian, Russian and English.

COMPLETED AND CURRENT ACTIVITIES

Over the past years PROSERVICE NT Ltd. has completed and been currently involved in a number of projects and contracts, related to ecology monitoring systems, external and technologic radiation monitoring, thermoluminescent dosimeters, as well as the corresponding methods and means for data acquisition and analysis; collection and control of signals, information networks, design of radio and cable networks, architecture and engineering design for location of special equipment.

ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED DESIGNS AND PROJECTS

•  Design of automated monitoring system, which replaced the existing AKRB-03 “Seival” - high level;

•  Design of controller, providing communication with the sensor system of the “KALINA” type radiometer (control of aerosol releases through the stack), archive of data and connection to the information network of the “Radiation Safety and Dosimetry” department - Units 5 and 6;

•  Modification of “SAPOS 90 M” radiation monitor with the aim of providing automatic mode of operation for the centralized radiation monitoring system so as to survey the environment within the 30 km zone around Kozloduy NPP. This device has been successfully put into operation;

•  Maintenance repair of the outer dosimetric monitoring system (AMSORC) by modification of the applied SW for “SAPOS 90 M” radiation monitor;

•  The firm has acted as the only subcontractor of HOERMANN GmbH in the design and installation of a National Automated System for continuous monitoring of the radiation gamma background in the Republic of Bulgaria . The system has been put into operation. The basic scope of work on the predesign study, communication design, the design of a radio network on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, the design and supply of the communication equipment, the mounting constructions and additional accessories have been realized by PROSERVICE NT LTD. The company has contracted the 5-year warranty maintenance of this system. It is also to carry out activities, related to expansion of its scope and capabilities.

•  Design and implementation of a system for IDC ( Individual Dosimetry Control ) at KNPP ;

•  Maintenance of AMSORC ( Automated Measuring System for Outer Radiation Control ) at KNPP ;

•  Design of HW and SW for the upper level of AKRB-SIEVAL at KNPP ;

•  PROSERVICE NT LLC has implemented and included in the IDC system ( Individual Dosimetry Control ) 820 pcs . RAD 51S dosemeters , delivered by PRIBОRI OY for KNPP ;

•  PROSERVICE NT LLC has maintained the entire computer equipment at the administrative building of KNPP .

•  PROSERVICE NT LLC participated in the installation and commissioning of 2 pcs . of RM 2000 controllers along with representatives of SORRENTO ELECTRONICS and WESTINGHOUSE at KNPP ;

•  As a Subcontractor of CANBERRA PACKARD CENTRAL EUROPE GmbH, PROSERVICE NT LLC won the tender for supply of the entire equipment for the Radiation monitoring system and the related information system at the Low-level Activity Wastes Treatment Plant (LLAWTP). The company has completed the entire predesign study, and a concept has been determined for an information system covering the entire operation of the Plant. The network integrates the data from the sensor devices, monitoring the radiation background, as well as the measured data on the releases through the air ducts, and data from specific sections of the plant (WASTE ASSAY, Personal Dosimetry), ensuring connection to the global network at Kozloduy NPP. As a Subcontractor of CANBERRA PACKARD CENTRAL EUROPE GmbH PROSERVICE NT LTD has signed a contract titled “Supply of Radiation Monitoring Equipment” for development of software and for hardware installations for a radiation monitoring system at the LLAW treatment plant. PROSERVICE NT Ltd. has performed all installation and start-up activiries by the end of 1998, and is currently involved in the commissioning of the equipment to the customer .

•  PROSERVICE NT LLC has installed and commissioned a monitoring system for a PHARE Program project BG9508-02-02/02 titled “Complex Programme for Buhovo Area” As a Subcontractor of CANBERRA PACKARD CENTRAL EUROPE GmbH.

•  As a Subcontractor of CANBERRA PACKARD CENTRAL EUROPE GmbH PROSERVICE NT LLC has installed and commissioned a vehicle monitoring system at the “Kremikovzi” steel processing plant.

•  As a Subcontractor of CANBERRA PACKARD CENTRAL EUROPE GmbH PROSERVICE NT LLC has installed and commissioned a vehicle monitoring system at the “KZM” – Plovdiv plant.

 

CURRENT ACTIVITIES

•  contract for warranty and after-warranty maintenance of the monitoring equipment and devices at the Ministry of Environment and Waters of the Republic of Bulgaria ;

•  Design of SIK-02 ( monitoring system for quantitative and qualitative assessment of air pollution by dust , Zn and Pb) for the KZM – Plovdiv and incorporation into the Regional Control System ;

•  PROSERVICE NT LLC has contracted with KNPP the maintenance of specialized equipment, located on KNPP territory - RB - I О1, RB - I О2, RH -1, RH -2, PRAO and VD ;

•  PROSERVICE NT LLC has contracted with Plovdiv municipality the design and implementation of a system for locat monitoring of the air pollution ;

•  PROSERVICE NT LLC has concluded contracts with WESTINGHOUSE and FRAMATOME ANP on the Units 5 and 6 Modernization Program for design and implementation of the Radiation Monitoring Systems .

Based on the above information we would like to note that PROSERVICE NT LTD has a reliable experience in the design of HW devices (microprocessor-based controllers, special controllers for signal management, high-voltage power supply units, etc.), as well as design of system applied SW, based on ASSEMBLER and C++, CLIPPER and SQL based data-bases, operating in WINDOWS NT, NOVELL NETWARE environment.

General CAPABILITY IN the scope of activity of

PROSERVICE NT LLC

•  Proservice can perform pre-design studies for analysis of the status of the existing radio-safety systems, propose adequate measures for upgrading of the safety systems in accordance with present world-wide accepted regulations in force.

•  Proservice can provide architect engineering designs of the possible dislocation of the proposed equipment, mounting on corresponding consoles and integration into the existing systems, power supply solutions, location of data-collection stations, etc.

•  Proservice can carry out the start-up and tuning of newly delivered equipment, as well as training of the operational staff.

•  Proservice can perform, in case the necessary tools are provided by the manufacturer, adaptation/customization of a system to the user's requirements in respect of the information displayed on the screens, printout formats, means of data archiving and transfer to an upper network level, etc. This is to be fulfilled in conformance with the accepted standards in force at Kozloduy NPP.

•  Proservice can provide cyrilization of SW products and translation from/into Bulgarian/English/Russian of technical and user documentation.

•  As a subcontractor Proservice can assist in understanding and familiarization with the local Regulatory Laws along with assistance in making contacts, discussions, negotiations, etc.

•  Proservice can perform the warranty and after-warranty maintenance service for a wide range of special equipment, provided that adequate documentation and know-how are supplied.

•  Proservice can perform the overall SW and HW design and manufacturing of special data collection or interface controllers to meet the requirements of the user or to connect different types of equipment.

•  Proservice can deliver and install local computer networks and provide their integration to the upper level computer network at Kozloduy NPP.
