І. CONFERENCE SECTIONS
FIRST CONFERENCE DAY – section work will be held in the Riviera Room at the Riviera Beach Hotel – Reception Level on 7 June 2023 from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Plenary Session:
– Greetings;
– Reports from Ambassadors/representatives of the diplomatic corps in Bulgaria from
Countries where nuclear energy is being developed. Reports will include
Information on :
: reasons, need and objectives for nuclear energy development (vision);
: the status of nuclear energy and the status of nuclear projects in construction;
(short-to-mid-term planning);
: long-term plans for the development of nuclear energy (long term planning) – national strategies.
-Status and plans for the implementation of nuclear power projects in Bulgaria and the region.
SECOND CONFERENCE DAY – sections` work will be held in two rooms located on the first floor in Riviera Beach Hotel – Seminar and Conference on 8 June 2023 from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Section 1: Perspectives in nuclear development, operation and maintenance. Already ready build Projects – Results, Conclusions; Proposals for new technical solutions. New approaches to supply chain organization; Experience of overcoming the Covid crisis;
Section 2: Technologies and practices in decommissioning of nuclear installations. Reprocessing and storage of RAW and SNF – information exchange on implementation of similar projects.
Remark: The Scientific Committee reserves the right to include in the program of both sections the most important papers requested for participation, according to the available time for the work of the sections – from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. The remaining papers requested for participation will be presented to the attention of the conference participants on posters.
THIRD CONFERENCE DAY – section work will be held in Conference room located on the first floor in Riviera Beach Hotel on 9 June 2023 from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Section 3: The section will include papers on :
– Proposals for the Design and Construction of New Nuclear Facilities. Progress of projects under implementation. Major global companies that offer solutions for the construction of new nuclear facilities will be invited for presentations.
– MMR Perspectives;
– Initiatives of the European Commission, IAEA, Nucleareurope.
ІІ. PROGRAMME
On the basis of the program presented in the previous paragraph and the applications received and approved for participation, the Scientific Committee will send to all conference participants the detailed program of the conference no later than 01st of June 2023.

Report Requirements:
- The repots can be prepared in PDF or Word format. The reports shall be sent to Bulatom in accordance with the given time limits in registration form. The time given for presentation of the report will be in the frame of 15-20 minutes. In the application form for participation in the conference respective author shell marked in the registration form in which section he would like to be included his report and eventually preferable time for presenting of the report;
- The papers shall be prepared in one of the conference working languages – Bulgarian, Russian or English, and submitted in electronic copy to e-mail address: info@bulatom-bg.org, attention to Mr. Stanislav Georgiev – Chairperson of the Scientific Committee lately until 24th of May 2023;
- All the reports will be available on Bulatom website (bulatom-bg.org) up to 6 working days after end of the conference work;
- Conference will take place in 3 holes, situated in the Hotel Riviera Beach in the Complex Riviera Club.

- VENUE
Riviera Holiday Club is situated amidst a unique natural park of century-old trees on the Black Sea coast. It is located 17 km to the north-east of the town of Varna, in the immediate vicinity of the Golden Sands Resort Complex and 27 km from the Varna Airport.
A former government residence, now it offers 3 hotels and it is famous as an exceptional business tourism center.

The participation fee includes: conference organization, participants’ access to the scientific sessions and presented reports (they will be available on Bulatom website – www.bulatom-bg.org six working days after the finishing of the Conference), conference materials, delegate set, three lunches (on 07th, 08th and 09th of June. 2023), cocktail on 07th of June 2023, and coffee breaks.

The original invoice will be handed to the respective participant during his/her registration before the beginning of the conference and simultaneously you will receive scan copy of the same invoice by E-mail.
IMPORTANT CONDITION!
In advance payment of the participation fee and payment of the hotel accommodation (please see requirements of the section VII of this document) via bank transfer are obligatory conditions and it is precondition for the delegate’s registration, and his/her accommodation in the hotel selected. The Organizing Committee/Riviera Holiday Club are not responsible for hotel rooms’ reservation and participants’ registration without participation fee and hotel accommodation paid in advance.
Payment in cash or by credit card on spot will only be allowed for conference participants, who have applied to participate after 24th May, 2023. The credit cards acceptable in the Riviera complex are: VISA Card, Master Card.
- REGISTRATION
Registration for the conference can be done in two ways:
- Completing and sending the Registration form till 24th of May 2023 via е-mail: info@bulatom-bg.org – for registration for participation and for hotel reservation to the mail of Riviera Holiday Club – info@rivierabulgaria.com – please see the requirements in the registration form. As exception applications forms received after this date will be considered by the Organizing Committee as exception.

For the Participants in the Conference, expressed their willing to participate in it after 24th of May 2023, payment of the participation fee and hotel accommodation will be done as exception on place, after arrival of the respective participant.
The Registration desk will be situated on the first floor of the Riviera Beach Hotel. It will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on 06.05.2023 and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the other conference days – 07 – 09 of June 2023. All conference participants are requested, if possible, to arrive at Riviera Holiday Club and register on 06.06.2020. Registration of participants on 07th and 08th of June 2023, before the conference work commences, will be done as an exception.
- CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Before 30.04.2023 – an amount equal to the participation fee minus 10% for administrative expenses will be reimbursed. The paid amount for the hotel accommodation will be fully reimbursed.
- Before 24.05.2023 – an amount equal to the participation fee after deducting 50% of the participation fee for administrative expenses will be reimbursed. The paid amount for the hotel accommodation will be fully reimbursed.
- After 24.05.2023 – the paid amounts for participation fee and hotel accommodation will be not reimbursed.
Important condition! Cancellation requests will be valid only if they are sent in written form to the Organizing Committee – for participation fee and for hotel accommodation – to the Riviera Club by e-mail or post (the sending date or the postal stamp date will be considered).
VІІ. ACCOMMODATION
The conference participants have rooms booked at preferential prices in the 3 categories of the hotels at the Riviera Holiday Club – 5 * hotel Riviera Beach, 4 * – hotel Nympha and Boutique hotel Oasis. Journalists and students will be accommodated in the Training and Recreation Centre “Republika” (Golden Sands Resort) within a walking distance from the conference venue.
The table below shows the availability of different categories of rooms in the different categories of hotels and their prices. Please note that the information is object of updating in accordance with the already made reservations.

Prices for the rooms in the Riviera Club Hotels are per room per day and include accommodation, breakfast and insurance and as well as:
- For the hotel with 5 * – access to the swimming pool, fitness, safe in the rooms, internet, parking place;
- For the hotel 4* – access to the in room swimming pool in hotel Riviera Beach and open swimming pool in front of hotel Lotos, safe in the rooms, internet, parking place;
- UVZ Republika – internet, fitness, guarded parking.
These prices are only valid if reservation is made through Bulatom/Riviera Club. Requests for a change in hotel accommodation (type of hotel or number of nights) have to be sent in written form to the Riviera Club and Conference Organizing Committee lately until 24 of May 2023.
These are possibilities for given of additional bonuses to the participants in the Conference: they can use the services of the Complex at the same prices from 3 of June 2023 to the 10 of June 2023 included. If the respective participant would like to use this opportunity he has to reflect this desire in the registration form – please see registration form.
Application for the hotel accommodation shall be done by each participant in accordance with the requirements expressed in the registration form. Payment for hotel accommodation obligatory shall be done in advance through bank transfer using payment order to bank account of Riviera AD in leva :

Payment of the hotel accommodation in cash or through credit card will be allowed only for the participants in the conference, which express willing to participate in the conference after 24th of May 2023. The credit cards acceptable in Riviera complex are VISA Card, Master Card.
Additional important conditions connected with accommodation:
- Participants Accommodation in the Riviera complex hotels will be done only after complete payment made in advance, as it is explained above;
- In case that any participant in the conference will be forced to live earlier then the already paid stay, the Riviera complex do not owe reimbursement of the already paid amount – see that condition in section VI.3;
- The conference participants shall pay themselves all additional services ordered by them based on the prices in force during the respective date. It is not allowed credit for the rooms except in case that the Riviera complex guest presents a credit card as a guarantee.
Original invoice:
Participants will get original invoice for hotel payment from Riviera Ltd. at the Reception Desk of a corresponding hotel at checking-in.
For participation fee the participants will receive after their arrival in the hall for registration, located on the first floor of hotel Riviera – on 6th of June 2023.
To facilitate the accommodation of the participants, the Organizing Committee and Riviera Beach kindly asks all the participants to use the option for hotel payment and participation fee payment by bank transfer, using the bank details shown in sections VI and VII. We kindly reminding one more time that these advance payments are obligatory.
For the participants in the Conference, expressed their willing to participate in the Conference after 24th of May 2023, payment of the hotel accommodation and participate fee as exception will be done on place after arrival of the participant.
Hotel confirmation
Upon receipt of the registration form and payments of the participation fee and hotel accommodation, the Organizing Committee and Riviera Club will notify the participant by е-mail that he/she is registered as a delegate and will confirm his/her accommodation at the hotel chosen. The information on the hotel name (if accommodated in Riviera Holiday Club) will be sent to the registered participant latest till 24th of May, 2023.
VІІІ. SOCIAL EVENTS
- Lunch
Date: 07th, 08th, 09 th, of June 2023, the exact time will be noted in the conference program. Principally this will be done after finishing of the Conference program for the respective day – after 1 p.m.
Place: Restaurant Riviera Beach – 2 floor in the Riviera Holiday Club
Included in the participation fee.
- “Welcome” Cocktail
Date: Wednesday, 07th of June, 2023, 8:00 p.m.
Place: Restaurant of Hotel Oasis
Included in the participation fee.
Note: Accompanying persons wishing to participate in the social events may buy covers at the Secretariat – the room on the first floor in Hotel Riviera Beach. The price for one lunch is EURO 20.5 EURO for one lunch.
The price for the cocktail is 47 EURO.

Possibilities for sponsorship opportunities are available for Companies, which are supporting development of nuclear Energy in Bulgaria and have longtime business relations with the respective state owned structures and firms in Bulgaria.
