Branimira Markova is the winner of the BulАtom competition

The student from the Technical University of Sofia, specialty “Thermal Power Engineering and Nuclear Energy”, Branimira Markova is the winner of the competition held by the “Bulgarian Atomic Forum” Association on the topic: “How do you imagine the nuclear energy of Bulgaria in 2053?”.

All students from Sofia University, Technical University Sofia, Plovdiv University, Ruse University and UNWE – Sofia had the right to participate in the competition. BulАtom would like to express his gratitude to all students who took part and their professors.

A committee, including professors from the universities listed above, defined as the most comprehensive and consistent in the presentation of the author’s main thesis on the possible development of the energy sector in Bulgaria, the report of Branimira Markova on the topic: “How do I imagine the nuclear energy of Bulgaria in 2053?” and unanimously decided to rank it first.

The winner of the competition, in addition to a diploma, a cash prize of BGN 1,000, publication of the report on the website of the association, also received a personal invitation to participate, at the expense of the organizers, in the Traditional International Nuclear Conference of the Bulgarian Atomic Forum, which will be held in the period June 05 – 07, 2024 in Riviera Holiday Club near the Varna city.
