Working Groups
As a member of the European Atomic Forum, Bulatom participates in the working groups established by Foratom, through its representatives from Kozloduy NPP, DP RAO, and Bulatom. The Bulgarian representatives participate in the preparation of the general positions of the entire nuclear industry in Europe on every single issue and in presenting them to the European institutions.
The issues that are considered and discussed in these working groups cover all issues related to nuclear energy, and the proposals developed there are very useful both at the level of the European Community and at the level of Foratom, as well as for the new nuclear industry of Bulgaria.
External Connections
At the working level, Bulatom maintains constant relations with Bulgarian and foreign media interested in the development of nuclear energy in Bulgaria and abroad, providing information on Bulgarian nuclear energy issues.
Through its membership in FORATOM – such information is provided for European institutions and other international organizations. It has an important role in providing information about the global nuclear industry and the attitude of European parliamentarians towards nuclear energy in general.
The association acts as a forum for contacts, discussions, and common actions of its members through the organization of conferences and seminars. Maintains relations with governmental and non-governmental organizations in the country and abroad.
