How to Become a Member of BULATOM?

Membership in the Association is a voluntary act initiated by the respective legal entity.

Any legal entity that shares the Association’s objectives and the means for achieving them, complies with its Statutes, and regularly pays its membership fee and other property contributions may become a full member.

Admission of new full members is based on a written application addressed to the Chair of the Management Board and sent to: info@Bulatom-bg.org.

Applications are reviewed at the next meeting of the Management Board. Members are admitted by open vote and by a simple majority.

Within one month of the Management Board’s decision on the submitted application, the applicant is notified in writing of the outcome.

What Is the Membership Fee?

Members of the Bulgarian Atomic Forum pay a one-time annual membership fee, due by the end of June of the current year.

The fee amount is determined in accordance with a scale adopted by the Management Board and approved by a Resolution of BULATOM’s General Assembly. The minimum fee equals one statutory minimum monthly wage, as set by a Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria. The maximum fee is paid only by Kozloduy NPP and is set by a resolution of the Association’s Management Board.

At the beginning of each calendar year, every legal-entity member must complete and submit a declaration, signed by the company’s authorized representative, stating the company’s turnover in the field of nuclear energy in Bulgaria (contracts with Kozloduy NPP, SERAW, New Build, etc.) for the previous year. Based on this declaration and in accordance with the fee scale, an invoice is issued, which must be paid by the end of June of the current year.

How to Terminate Your Membership in BULATOM?

Any BULATOM member may, at any time and at its own discretion, send a written notice by email to info@Bulatom-bg.org addressed to the Chair of BULATOM’s Management Board, stating its intention to resign from membership in the Association. This notice is reviewed by BULATOM’s General Assembly in accordance with the Association’s Statutes.
