BulAtom became a direct member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)

By a decision of the Executive Council, Protocol No 103/3-2024 of 27.02.2024, the Association “Bulgarian Atomic Forum” – Bulatom was accepted as a direct member of the BCCI. This is as a result of the previously held meeting with of Bulatom, held before that, at the invitation of the Chairman of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov and the Secretary General Dr. Vasil Todorov, where the opportunities for joint activity and cooperation were discussed.
According to Bulatom, the membership in BCCI provides an opportunity for organizing joint seminars, meetings and initiatives. The opportunities provided by BCCI to its members, such as information and consultations on European and national programs and sources of funding, as well as access to the cooperation offered by all international organizations of which BCCI is a member, is a good opportunity for Bulatom and its members to diversify and expand their activities.

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (established in 1895) is an independent, non-governmental organization for assistance, promotion, representation and protection of the business interests of its members, which contributes to the development of international economic cooperation and provides assistance for the European and international integration of the Republic of Bulgaria. The activity of the Chamber is based on the principles of voluntary membership, autonomy and self-financing. BCCI seeks to establish straightforward and ethical relations among the business circles.
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the 28 Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry are united in the Unified System of Bulgarian Chambers of Commerce and Industry which has members – traders, corporations, associations, etc
A Council of Sectorial Organisations has been established and operates with BCCI. The Council was established on 14 January 1999. Its main objectives are to facilitate the dialogue between public institutions and businesses, and to balance the interests of sectorial organisations in connection with the main issues related to creating a favourable environment for the development of Bulgarian business. 84 sectorial organizations are members of the Council.
